1954 Simon Addor founds a transport company in Lauenen. The fleet consists of an old Saurer truck.
In the same year he builds the gravel works building (today the Hotel Alpenland stands there).
1955 Purchase of the first Volvo 2-axle dump truck and the first excavator. Soon orders are received for large buildings, which are still standing today. Gravel is supplied for military tunnels, for the high-voltage lines of the Sanetsch power plant and concrete gravel for the airfield.
1957 The first excavation orders are executed.
1968 Expansion of business activities by offering demolition services.
1977 The company headquarters is moved from Lauenen to Gstaad.
1981 Heinz Addor (2nd generation) joins the company as managing director. The company employs ten people.
The fleet consists of five trucks and eight construction machines.
Heinz Addor continuously expands the company.
1984 Heinz Addor expands the range of services to include national and international transports, thus compensating for seasonal fluctuations.
Time and again, the company boss also carries out overland transports himself, for example to Spain and England.
1989/90 A factory hall including a new workshop building is built in Lauenen.
1993 Business takeover by Heinz Addor (2nd generation) 2004 50 year anniversary 2007 New workshop and office building in Grund/Gstaad. Daughter Daniela, trained businesswoman, joins the company. She is responsible for the disposition.
2008 Son-in-law Marco joins the company as a construction machine operator.
2010 Takeover of the company Gehret AG, construction company in Feutersoey, with 13 employees, incl. vehicle and machinery park.
2014 60-year anniversary. Employment of over 50 employees.

Environmental Protection

We constantly invest in modern machinery and vehicles, which are always equipped with the latest Euro standard engines.

Always one step ahead of the times, we have already equipped all machines with particulate filters and bio-oil before the mandatory deadline. Furthermore, we strive to process accumulating material and to reuse it as recycling material.

deconstruction work

For over 40 years we have been active in the field of deconstruction.
State-of-the-art Oil-Quick quick-change system enables excavator attachments to be changed in a matter of seconds without manual aid.

Excavation work

One of the many activities of our company is excavation work.

We are equipped for any soil condition (rock, bog, clay, etc.).

For all works we have excavators from 0.9 to 32to.

Road construction

In the field of road construction we perform the following works for you:

Surrounding works

We design your environment according to your individual wishes with different types of natural stone and Terra-Mur green shoring.
We also create driveways and hard surfaces, as well as terraces with various types of interlocking stones.

Oil Quick & GPS

In the construction machinery sector, we were one of the first Swiss companies to equip our equipment with Oil Quick. This means that the excavator operators can change any attachment such as sorting grab, concrete biter, bucket separator, vibro plate, swing bucket from the cabin. Thus, no hoses need to be mounted or dismounted; everything runs without the operator having to leave the excavator. This enables very rational work and a high daily output. The excavator control by GPS also works optimally on several construction machines, which enables very accurate work.

Gravel Processing & Delivery

The first activity of the Addor company in 1954 was the gravel extraction in the Lauibach Rohr, Lauenen.
Today we can process mainly concrete gravel 0-32 from the Lauibach.
We also process gravel in two quarries in Lauenen and in Meielsgrund.
In these quarries we extract the following materials:

• Stone blocks of alpine limestone in various sizes
• Seepage gravel
• Wall gravel I
• Level gravel

From excavations with rock and stone content, as well as demolition concrete from various construction sites, we prepare various materials for reuse. In addition, we are able to recover the following materials from the ground with our material preparation and washing plant:

• Sand 0-4 mm
• Round gravel 4-8 mm
• Round gravel 8-16 mm
• Round gravel 16-32/60 mm
• Round gravel 32-60/100 mm

Dump truck transport

Whether gravel, stones, concrete, excavated material or other materials, whether tipped sideways or backwards, or nevertheless set down in a trough, whether with an articulated lorry or with a 3-axle tipper, we are happy to serve you according to your ideas and space conditions.
Our vehicle fleet for tipper transports consists of the following trucks:

• 3-axle tipper (26to total weight / bridge capacity 10m3)
• 4-axle tipper (32to total weight / bridge capacity 12m3)
• 5-axle tipper (40to total weight / bridge capacity 15m3)
• Semitrailer truck (40to total weight / bridge capacity up to 26m3)

The Addor company transports skips with one hoe (5-axle), three hoes (4-axle), and two trucks with Welakia superstructure (2-axle).

Workshop

For repairs and maintenance of our vehicles and construction machines we have our own workshop. Here we employ trained truck, construction machinery, agricultural machinery and car mechanics. Due to the good cooperation within the team, repairs can be completed in the shortest possible time. From own constructions to repair and service, almost everything is carried out in the in-house workshop as well as on the respective construction site on site.

With our quick change system we can serve you as follows:
