BWT Bau AG takes care of the new construction and conversion, renovation and restoration of valuable building fabric with a great deal of passion and know-how. Our tasks include demolition work, additions, extensions, the processing of concrete, the safe removal of pollutants such as asbestos, PCB and PAH and other pollutants, the fulfillment of regulations regarding fire protection, earthquake safety or monument preservation as well as the thermal insulation of the attic or work with wood. We also offer partition walls.

Concrete drilling and milling

Thanks to modern precision machines, it is no longer a problem to precisely mill, cut, separate, demolish or core drill reinforced concrete, masonry or natural stone. These methods are more cost-effective as well as quieter than tips. They allow almost any intervention in concrete, such as drilling conduit penetrations, cutting out door and window openings, breakthroughs for new room divisions or spiral staircases. For practically vibration-free demolition and crushing of concrete, we also use hydraulic presses and concrete biters.

Concrete drilling

Core drilling is accurate, quiet, vibration-free and dust-free, and reduces costs by eliminating the need for major rework. Drillings can be made at any angle in diameters from 10 mm to 1000 mm in reinforced concrete and masonry. The technology is suitable, for example, for breakthroughs or lines in the areas of sanitary, building services or chimney construction as well as for wall and ceiling openings.

Concrete is only apparently an indestructible building material. Why does concrete flake off over time and become unstable?

After a few years, water, air and pollutants such as chlorides cause a chemical reaction: the concrete carbonates. Moisture, oxygen and pollutants attack the reinforcing steel and cause it to rust. This in turn increases the volume of the steel; the resulting pressure causes parts of the concrete to flake off. In common parlance, this is called "concrete cancer." The carbonation and corrosion reduce the stability of the concrete, so that remediation by specialists is essential.

In which building materials is asbestos present?

The problem is that asbestos is not easy to identify because it is a low-cost general-purpose building material and is present in about 3500 products, for example, asbestos cement (Eternit), asbestos board, fire protection products, Novilon flooring, flexboard, insulation material, or piping. Even tile adhesive can contain asbestos. Asbestos, which is highly hazardous to health, can still be found in many buildings built before 1989. Unfortunately, many remodeling projects do not include an inspection of the asbestos situation, which can have consequences for health.

BWT Bau AG ensures that neighborhoods and buildings are supplied with energy, water and communication networks and that wastewater is transported away unnoticed. The civil engineering technology of BWT Bau AG also allows trenchless pipe laying. The experienced civil engineering team takes great pleasure in freeing natural bodies of water, which are allowed to find their own way through the landscape again in controlled paths. Environmental work is also part of the services of BWT Bau AG.

We can handle wood

The material wood sets almost no limits to the imagination and in the application. BWT Bau AG has acquired a great deal of know-how in timber construction over the decades and is equally adept at building wooden houses, attics or extensions as it is at carpentry of bridges, wooden facades, terraces or stairs made of wood. Our hobbyhorse are reconstructions and renovations. This is where our flexibility and skill in all areas of construction come into their own - including thermal insulation and soundproofing. BWT has its own carpentry shop and has the wood for the precise constructions cut by computer. On request, we build with FSC wood.

Carpentry work

The carpentry workshop of BWT Bau AG is well equipped for all work in timber construction. We construct and build wooden houses, agricultural buildings and halls from solid wood. Roof truss constructions, roof extensions or the installation of skylights and roof windows (Velux) are a welcome task for our carpenters who are free from giddiness. They also beautify houses with weatherproof wooden facades, cozy winter gardens or practical wooden carports. We also create a beautiful ambience inside the house with paneling, wooden floors, wooden ceilings or stairs made of wood.
