History of the development of the company

In 1956 Josef Casutt founded the construction company J. Casutt as a sole proprietorship. After his death, the construction company was transformed into a joint-stock company in 1981.

In 1986, Casutt AG was able to move into its own workshop with offices and staff apartments. In addition, an additional works yard was opened in Sagogn in the year 2000. Simultaneously with the foundation of the public limited company Casutt AG, Armin Casutt, nephew of the company founder, took over the management. Today, after more than 35 years, there is again a change of generations. Since January 2016, Martin Casutt, nephew of Armin Casutt, has been the operational managing director of Casutt AG.

What was once a small construction business has now become one of the leading construction companies in the region, employing up to 70 people in the summer.

The main activity is the execution of building and civil engineering works. Since 1991, the company also undertakes the execution of:

• underlays
• flowing screed
• special floors
• Concrete: drilling and milling
• All environmental works
• Customer works
• Snow removal

as well as general contracting for all construction projects.
