Doutaz C. et Fils SA (Pringy)

Casimir Doutaz laid the foundations for Doutaz C. et fils SA when he was employed by the Moléson ski lift company as operations manager.

He subsequently bought a tracked Trax in 1963 and found a partner. When the latter left, Casimir bought out his shares and gradually added to his fleet of machines to create his own earthmoving company.

Casimir's son, Bernard Doutaz, worked in the family hotel in Gruyère as a cook, while assisting his father on site whenever he could. After a few years, he decided to move into earthmoving for good. In addition, his concern for the environment and recycling led him to set up a sorting and crushing plant for demolition materials.

Jérôme Doutaz, the family's grandson, joined the company after completing an apprenticeship and CFC in mechanics at JPF construction between 1994 and 1998. He stayed with the company for 2 years. In 2000, Jérôme and his father built their warehouse in Epagny, housing all their machines. In the same year, the SA was created.

For over 40 years, Doutaz C. et fils SA has been offering its services for land development, earthworks, demolition, excavation and mountain roads.
