Cantilever racks are enormously load-bearing storage systems for the storage of long goods and bulky stored goods. These include, for example, wooden boards, metal sheets, profiles, beams or steel elements, building materials or even end-of-life vehicles and all kinds of heavy loads.

Cantilever racks from OHRA differ from standard racks by the use of full-walled steel profiles for all load-bearing elements. Due to this slim design of our racks, compact storage on a small footprint is achieved.

There are specific cantilever racks for every product and for every industry. They differ, depending on the requirements, in height, useful depth, load capacity or profile thickness. All cantilever racks are manufactured individually according to the customer's specifications, high-quality powder-coated or hot-dip galvanized for outdoor storage. The OHRA cantilever rack is available in different variants, from a small rack row for light loads up to complete rack halls, where the rack uprights serve at the same time as supporting structure for roof and wall. Versatile accessories such as arm bridges for continuous storage without interfering intermediate supports or inclined arms for storage and retrieval by crane are part of the standard services of the certified company. Other services such as rack assembly, structural calculations or preparation of drawings round off the range of services.

Pallet racks for individual solutions

Pallet racks are by far the most commonly used storage systems for a variety of requirements. In addition to the classic storage of goods on different pallets (e.g. Euro or industrial pallets), these racks can also be used to store loading aids such as mesh boxes or heavy tools. Pallet racks can be found in many industries, for example in the building materials trade, at freight forwarding companies, in industry in shipping warehouses or as a single-storage system for heavy goods.

The robust pallet racks from OHRA are made of hot-rolled quality steel profiles for high load capacities and safe handling. The individual shelves are adjustable in height in increments of 100 mm. Economically attractive pallet racks made of optimized steel sheets with IPG beams are also used for light and medium loads. A specialty of OHRA are hot-dip galvanized pallet racks for outdoor use. It is possible to supply these storage systems with or without roof. All pallet racks are quick to assemble and can be expanded at any time.

- Shelving halls

Shelf halls as a combination solution

Shelf halls from OHRA are the perfect fusion of building and storage system. In contrast to the classic hall construction, the supports of the racking systems, in addition to their actual function as a storage system, also serve as a load-bearing substructure for the hall roof and optionally for the attachment of the side walls of the racking hall. In this way, you can achieve a clear cost advantage over conventional hall construction with additional racks.

Shelving halls can be realized on the basis of cantilever racks or pallet racks. A combination of both types of racking as a load-bearing structure is also possible. Depending on the use and requirements, the shelving halls can be of open or closed construction. Closed rack halls are completely covered and equipped with doors or rolling gates. The design of the roof and wall of the rack hall is versatile. For example, trapezoidal sheets or light panels can be used for roofing. The substructure can be realized as a monopitch or gable roof if desired. Trapezoidal sheet metal, sheet piling or sandwich panels are used as wall cladding. Racks with roof

For outdoor storage, OHRA offers racking systems that not only create additional storage space, but also provide sufficient protection from the weather. The roofing of cantilever and pallet racks, for example for the storage of wood, ensures that the goods remain dry and are ventilated at the same time.

OHRA offers various roof designs, all of which are statically calculated taking into account snow and wind loads. The roof covering is usually made with trapezoidal sheets. However, this can also be carried out by the customer.

- Stage systems

Storage platforms from OHRA enlarge the existing storage area, without any additions or alterations. The additional space created with the storage platform can be used cost-effectively and in a variety of ways, e.g. as an office or work area, as a production or exhibition area or as an additional storage unit.

OHRA storage platforms as flexible warehouse extension

All OHRA storage platforms can be configured for different requirements and loads by using different column profiles, ledgers and purlins (e.g. made of full-walled steel profiles or optimized Sigma profiles). Obstacles such as pipelines and power lines as well as windows and doors are taken into account. OHRA designs and manufactures storage platforms with up to 5 floors without any problems. The axial dimension of the platform supports is 3.5 - 8.5 m as standard. Load capacities from 250 - 2.000 kg/m². Larger axle dimensions and load capacities we plan with you on request. The storage platforms are completed by stairs with steps made of grating or wood, railings in bolted design with handrail and knee rail. Transfer stations in different variants and designs are also possible. We use plastic-coated chipboard or anti-skid coating as a covering on the storage platform.

- Shelving

OHRA shelving for the storage of small parts and non-palletized goods. The galvanized boltless shelving is assembled without screw connections and is mainly used for manual retrieval. The robust shelves with different shelf widths and load capacities are multi-folded.

OHRA Shelving - flexible configurable

The shelf racks are available in 3 different heights as standard: 2,000, 2,500 and 3,000 mm. The shelf depth is optionally 400, 500 or 600 mm. The individual shelves can be supplied with a load capacity of 150, 250 and 330 kg, depending on requirements. The bay load is max. 1,500 kg. All OHRA shelf racks are tested according to the guidelines of the BGR. The shelves can be adjusted in a height grid of 25 mm. Also available as double shelving.

Compared to conventional shelving technology, the initial costs of a dynamic shelving system are somewhat higher. - Automated storage solutions

According to the requirements of a semi- or fully automated warehouse, our expert consultants plan and configure the selection of the suitable conveyor and racking technology in cooperation with the customer. The configuration of the storage and retrieval machines (SRM) is based on the automation task, the products and the spatial conditions. All SRMs can be designed as aisle-bound or curve-going. This makes it possible to serve several aisles with just one device.

Due to the integration of the mechanics for the lane change in the trolleys and the intelligent interaction of the in-house warehouse management software, it is also possible to use several vehicles in one system. This eliminates the need for costly conveyor technology between the individual rack aisles. The overall range of SRMs extends from units for smaller high-bay racks and automatic process buffers to vehicles for storing pallets and skeleton containers and two-mast units with a load capacity of up to 8,000 kg and overall heights of up to 25 meters.
