Pro Béton SA (Vernier)

**The company

Founded in 1982 in Geneva, PRO BETON SA offers its services throughout the Greater Geneva area. The company is active in the production, delivery and pumping of ready-to-use and custom-built concrete. It has two production sites, one in La Praille on the left bank, the other in Vernier on the right bank of the lake. PRO BETON SA supplies half of the volume of concrete delivered for the construction of structures in and around Geneva.

Fleet of vehicles

PRO BETON SA has a fleet of some twenty truck-mixers to deliver the concretes required for the complex structures under construction, on time and under optimum conditions. It also has three mobile pumps, one up to 20 meters high, another up to 24 meters and the third up to 42 meters, as well as a compact mixer-pump for transporting concrete over obstacles and directly to the placement site.

Certified know-how

A quality management system was set up in 2000 to improve the quality and efficiency of the products and services supplied by PRO BETON SA. Its know-how and performance are underpinned by a double certification: the Quality Management System and production control.

Innovative solutions

In addition to its vast range of certified products, PRO BETON SA is constantly developing innovative products in partnership with its customers, public authorities and design offices. These partnerships have led to the creation of the first self-placing concretes, new-generation recycled concretes, concretes with low heat of hydration, concretes with ultra-fast commissioning times, and mass-tinted concretes.

**Sustainable development

Concerned about environmental protection and social responsibility, PRO BETON SA is committed to recycling. Its processing plant handles fresh concrete and hardened concrete waste, as well as manufacturing rejects and site returns. Reintegrated in situ, recycled products are used in the manufacture of new concretes, with only a small proportion ending up in landfill sites.
